Automation encompasses the automatic execution of human-mediated work in processes in industry, management and informatics. In other words, what is automation, it is the task sharing of man and machine in a job that needs to be done. If we narrow the scope of the definition a little bit, automation is the realization and control of manufacturing using mechanical, electronic and computer-based systems.
In automation systems, the share percentage of a job between human and machine determines the level of automation. So much so that if the manpower increases in an automation, semi-automation occurs, and if the machine efficiency increases, full automation occurs.
